Itsu serves fake Wasabi - the ingredients on the back of the packet does not mention the Wasabi plant at all:

• Dehydrogenated Corn Syrup
• Water
• Horseradish - relative of Wasabi
• Mustard - relative of Wasabi
• High Fructose Corn Sweetner - linked with Diabetes
• Sunflower Oil
• Soybean
• Salt
• Spices Extract (Mustard)
• Sucrose Fatty Acid Esters (E473 - possible derived from Pig fat at the slaughter house - the package does not specify the origin)
• Cyclodextrin
• Aluminium Potassium Sulphate (E522)
• Food Colours blue & yellow: (mix to give green)
• E133 - banned in some European countries - not recommended for consumption by children
• E102 - banned in Norway and Austria - not recommended for consumption by children
